BRONSON TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan State Police are investigating a Tuesday night fire south of Bronson as a possible arson.
Bronson firefighters were called after the fire in a unoccupied two story wood frame structure in the area of Cranson and Cemetery Roads was reported at about 8:40 p.m..
Bronson Assistant Fire Chief Ken Stutzman says the vacant structure was a total loss and had no value.
Firefighters were on the scene for nearly four hours as the temperature was barely above zero with wind chills near 15 below.
Stutzman says they used almost 20,000 gallons of water to put the fire out. The State Police says the investigation into the fire remains open.
