STOCKBRIDGE, MI (WTVB) – The Big 8 Conference announced on Monday that Stockbridge will join the conference beginning with the 2024-2025 school year.
With Stockbridge joining, this will bring the number of conference members back up to eight.
Jonesville and Homer departed after the 2022-2023 school year to become members of the Cascades Conference.
Vermontville Maple Valley filled one of the vacancies but the conference was left with seven teams for this year before Stockbridge decided to join.
According to a conference news release, “Stockbridge brings a rich tradition of good athletics, sportsmanship, and top-notch facilities. The conference and its members are excited and looking forward to working with Stockbridge.”
