THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – The season ended for the Coldwater High School boys tennis team Thursday as they finished fourth at the MHSAA Division Three Regional Tournament hosted by Three Rivers but two of their doubles team won regional titles.
Sturgis won the meet with 26 points followed by Harper Creek with 18 points. Stevensville-Lakeshore was third with 15 points followed by Coldwater with 13 points.
Winning regional titles for the Cardinals were the number one doubles team of Blake Yates and Christian Pine and the number two doubles team of Sam Morrison and Noah Waterbury.
Alec Keplinger at number three singles and the number three doubles team of Ryan Murphy and Eric Segovia managed to get to the semi-finals in their flights.
