COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Historic District Commission approved a request from the Coldwater Elks lodge Wednesday night to install a new electronic sign on their property at 47 Division Street.
The LED sign will be housed with brick columns. It will be gray, white and black in color.
The Elks Lodge is one of the oldest buildings in Coldwater, as it was constructed as a church in 1864. The twin towers remained on the building until 1953. It has been the home of the Coldwater Elks since 1907.
In other business, the Historic District Commission decided to keep meeting on the second Wednesday of the month during 2018.
