COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – After months of discussion, the Branch County Board of Commissioners are ready to move forward with a proposed Off Road Vehicle ordinance for the county.
Branch County Administrator Bud Norman told Commissioners during their work session on Thursday they have talked to villages, townships and cities throughout the county.
He said some there were some concerns including language covering headlights and taillights as well as the times around sunset.
Norman told Commissioners if they decided to move forward, a public hearing must be held.
He added one township did not want ORV’s.
The name of the township was not mentioned. Commissioners have made no significant changes to the proposed ordinance which was drafted by County Prosecutor Zach Stempien.
