COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The 70th annual Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday, March 7 at the Dearth Community Center.
Six awards will be presented during the program. Individuals or businesses have to meet certain criteria.
The Citizen of the Year is presented to an individual who lives or works in Branch County. It recognizes their impact on the lives and citizens of this community.
The Educator of the Year goes to a classroom teacher or administrator who has demonstrated a superior capacity to inspire a love of learning in students.
The Business of the Year Award goes to a small or large business that goes out of its way to become a community partner.
The Young Professional of the Year recognizes the achievements of a young professional in Branch County between the ages of 18 and 35 who has demonstrated noteworthy commitment to excellence and community service in their profession.
The Outstanding Public Service or Professional goes to the Public Service Professional who goes above and beyond the call of duty.
The Outstanding Organization of Community Program goes to an organization or program that has demonstrated an exceptional achievement of its mission while improving quality of life in Branch County.
