COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The deadline for students to apply for a Branch County Community Foundation scholarship has been extended to Friday, April 5 at 3:00 p.m..
The deadline was originally on Wednesday but it was extended because the Free Application for Federal Student Aid processing date has now been delayed to mid-March.
Community Foundation Executive Director Erica Heminger says students will still need to complete a FAFSA and submit their Student Aid Report at a later date to verify eligibility for need-based scholarships.
Those who do not submit their official FAFSA Student Aid Report with their Student Aid Index will be disqualified from receiving a Branch County Community Foundation scholarship.
