COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man who has a criminal record going back almost two decades was sent back to the Michigan Department of Corrections on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court.
39-year-old Justin Posante was given a prison sentence of 21 months to 15 years for possession of methamphetamine second offence as well as 21 months to 60 months for unlawful driving away of an automobile.
Posante entered guilty pleas on both counts. The sentences are to run concurrently.
He was given credit of 143 days on the meth charges and 116 days on the unlawful driving away charge.
In a separate case, Posante is facing charges of armed robbery, attempted armed robbery and larceny from a person in connection with an alleged robbery at a local apartment on June 13.
