COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch Intermediate School District Assistant Superintendent of Special Education Darrin Adair has been honored with the 2024 Murray O. Batten Humanitarian Award.
The award is named in honor of the former Director of Special Education in the Michigan Department of Education.
The award is given to practicing ISD/ESA special education administrators who emulate Batten’s qualities of Honesty, Integrity, Trust, and Compassion.
Adair was honored last week by the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education.
Adair has been with the B.I.S.D. since 2015 and has been in education for 26 years.
