BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – For the second straight week, the Coldwater Cardinals will face a state-ranked team on Friday in week seven of the high school football season. The Cardinals play at Harper Creek this evening.
The undefeated Beavers are ranked sixth in Division Three in this weeks Michigan Associated Press High School Football poll. Harper Creek leads the Interstate 8 with a 5-0 conference record. They lost to the Cardinals twice last season, once during the regular and the second time in the opening round of the Districts.
Game time tonight is 7:00 p.m. Coverage on AM1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB as well as on line at www.wtvbam.com starts at 6:30 p.m.
Coldwater won the J.V. game over Harper Creek on Thursday night at Cardinal Field 44-14.

Union City will be trying to bounce back from their first loss of the season this evening at Homer. A victory would assure the Chargers of making the playoffs.
Concord (1-5 overall, 1-4 Big 8) at Quincy (4-2 overall, 3-2 Big 8)
It’s homecoming for the Quincy Orioles as they host Concord. The Orioles also have post season aspirations. They need two wins in their last three games to qualify for the post season.
Concord won the J.V. game over Quincy on Thursday 30-0.
Bronson (0-6 overall, 0-5 Big 8) at Reading (5-1 overall, 5-0 Big 8)
The Reading Rangers are in the sole possession of first place in the Big 8 following their win over Union City last week.
