COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Clerk Terry Kubasiak says through Tuesday there have been 118 ballots cast during early, in-person voting at the Dearth Community Center for the February 27 Michigan presidential primary.
She says the busiest day so far has been on Tuesday as 37 ballots were cast.
This is the first election with statewide early voting. Nine days of early voting for the Presidential Primary began last Saturday.
It will go through this Sunday, February 25.
Early voting for all Branch County registered voters is being held at the Dearth Community Center at 235 East Garfield in Coldwater.
Early voting hours are daily from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m..
Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson says nearly 766,000 people have voted ahead of the primary.
