BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson’s boys and girls bowling teams both finished first Friday at the MHSAA Division 4 Bowling Team Regionals hosted at Bronson Strike Zone. The Viking boys finished with a combined total from eight Baker games and two regular games of 2,719 pins, while second-place Grandville Calvin Christian had 2,624, six more than third-place Homer. The top two finishers in each region advance to next weekend’s team finals. Bronson’s girls won with a total of 2,925 pins; Martin was runner-up with 2,292.
D4 Boys Team Regional Results | D4 Girls Team Regional Results
Coldwater competed in the Division 2 Team Regional hosted by Vicksburg at Continental Lanes in Kalamazoo. The Cardinal boys finished fifth with a total of 2,927; Charlotte and Pennfield qualified for next weekend’s Finals. The Lady Cards were third with 2,761 pins; second-place Marshall had 2,809. Sturgis won the regional trophy.
D2 Boys Team Regional Results | D2 Girls Team Regional Results
Quincy’s Division 3 Team Regional competition took place Thursday at Royal Scot in Lansing. The Oriole boys were third with 3,108 pins, 40 shy of second-place Lakewood; Portland was the top finisher. The Oriole girls finished eighth with 2,257.

No Quincy bowler finished within the top seven in singles competition Friday to advance to next weekend’s singles finals. Tyler Short was ninth in the boys competition with a six-game series of 1,143; the seventh-place bowler finished with 1,161. Elly Brewer was the top girl for the Orioles; her total of 868 was good for 19th place.

Singles competition for Coldwater and Bronson will take place Saturday.
