Linsey Ann Furry, 72, of Coldwater, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at her home.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Linsey was born September 1, 1951, in Indianapolis, IN. She was adopted by James and Beverly (Weaver) Braun.
Linsey was a member of many musical groups in her early years, a memorable one being the band Bones in 1980, where she met William K. Furry, her husband. They later married on October 22, 1983, in Coldwater, MI.
Mrs. Furry went on to get her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University with a major in elementary education, and a minor in music. She taught at Portage and Hartford public schools.
Linsey was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Southwest Michigan and was a musical accompanist for their church services. Linsey enjoyed playing the piano, flute, and singing. She also loved watching tennis, golf, and Tiger baseball.
Linsey is survived by her husband William “Bill” Furry of Coldwater, MI; her children Keith (Jenny) Furry of Ann Arbor, MI, and Kendra (Brad) Charboneau of St. Louis, MO; and her brother Todd (Dixie) Braun.
Linsey was preceded in death by her parents, James and Beverly Braun.
