UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Following back-to-back shutouts, the Union City Chargers are ranked sixth in the state in Division Seven according to this weeks Michigan Associated Press High School Football poll.
The 5-0 Chargers can clinch a post-season berth and move into sole possession of first place in the Big 8 Conference if they can defeat Reading on Friday night.
Coldwater’s Homecoming opponent Friday night, Jackson Lumen Christi, is ranked second in the state in Division Six.
Interstate 8 Conference leader Harper Creek is ranked fourth in Division Three.
Meanwhile, Three Rivers is ninth in Division Four and Mendon was tied for third in Division Eight.
