COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The growing number of traffic accidents with injuries along US 12 on Coldwater’s east side increased again over the weekend.
The most recent crash happened late Saturday morning at the intersection of US 12 and Willowbrook Road. It was a rear end collision involving a semi-tractor trailer with a Colorado license plate and a 2013 Buick LaCrosse. Riding in the car were a 33-year old Coldwater woman and a 28-year old man from Quincy.
The 911 Central Dispatch log lists the crash as a personal injury accident. It appears no one was seriously hurt although the Coldwater Fire Department, Life Care Ambulance, and Michigan State Police all responded along with Coldwater City Police, who didn’t clear the scene for nearly an hour and a half after the crash occurred about 11:15 a.m. Saturday morning.
A detailed report on the accident has not yet been filed by the investigating Coldwater City Police officer, so any further information on the collision is unavailable.
