COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One person was injured in a two vehicle accident north of Coldwater on Friday morning.
The crash at the intersection of Bidwell and Marshall took place just before 8:00am and tied up traffic for just under an hour.
A woman was taken to the Community Health Center of Branch County after being pinned in one of the vehicles.
Michigan State Police are investigating the crash. Coldwater firefighters, the Branch County Sheriff’s Department and Lifecare Ambulance were also dispatched to the scene.
As the old saying goes, when it rains it pours. Just minutes after the accident which led to additional fire department crews being called in, there was a fire alarm at the Red Roof Inn which thankfully turned out to be a false trip.
