BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In high school volleyball, Clss C top ranked Bronson remained undfeated in Big 8 Congference play with a 3-0 win over Springport Tuesday (25-7, 25-5, 25-16).
Meantime, Bronson Volleyball Coach Jean LaClair was inducted into the Michigan High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame Sunday. In her 26 years of coaching, she has a career record of 1065-346-94. LaClair has coached three teams to state championships. Her teams have also earned seven regional titles, 15 district crowns and 12 league championships.
LaClair was inducted into the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2006 and has been the athletic director at Bronson for 22 years.
Union City 3, Quincy 0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-22)
Allison Adams had 13 assists for the Chargers while Emma White had four digs and Bracy Swift had 11 kills. Allison Parshall had 21 assists for the Orioles, Cailyn Cook recorded nine digs, Taylor Todd had two aces and Victoria Waligora had nine kills.
