ANN ARBOR, MI (WTVB) – The man who has donated millions of dollars to projects in his hometown was honored as a military veteran at his college Saturday.
Dr Robert W. Browne, who graduated from Coldwater High School and served in the Air Force in World War II before attending the University of Michigan, was honored as a Veteran of the Game during U of M’s victory over the Air Force Academy Saturday. He was one of four veterans honored Saturday.
The reccreation center and aquatic center in Coldwater are both named in Browne’s honor, with the city’s municipal building named after his grandfather.
