COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In boys soccer, Coldwater improved its record to 10-2 with their 4th straight shutout, beating Sturgis 4-0 Saturday.
Nasser Nagi had two goals, while Jonathan Brownell and Mohamed Nagi each had one. Brownell also had one assist, with two assists for Shaif Ahmed and one for Ahmed Saied.
Balal Nasser made 2 saves in goal as Coldwater outshot Sturgis 6-2.
Coldwater also won the J.V. match over Sturgis 4-2. Hunter Eldridge had two goals. Brady Travelbee and Drayke Fitch added a goal each. Assists were by Hunter Eldridge, Drayke Fitch, Dillon Lawhead, and Angel Sereno.
The Cardinals will host Parma Western for Interstate 8 Conference action Tuesday on Youth Night. Any child wearing a soccer jersey will be admitted free and can walk out with the varsity team during introductions.
