QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Quincy Village Manager Eric Zuzga will present a proposal to the Quincy Village Council Tuesday for a part time Special Projects and Events Coordinator.
Whoever is selected for the position would assist the Village Manager with public relations and marketing efforts. They would also be responsible for coordinator various events in Quincy such as Quincy Daze and Thursday Entertainment in the Park.
It’s hoped the person hired would be able to relaunch the Quincy Farmer’s Market and serve as the administrator for the market.
The part time employee would work 15 hours a week at $15 an hour.
The Quincy VIllage Council is also scheduled to go over a proposal from Zuzga for an early retirement program. The one time incentive would be paid into a program administered by MERS that would allow eligible employees to use money for health care expenses upon separation from the Village. Zuzga says only one employee would be eligible under this program.
