STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – Two Sturgis residents are facing charges after the discovery of drugs, guns, and a chop shop at a home in the 700 block of Market Street. Sturgis Police say they made the discovery while carrying out a search warrant at the home Wednesday.
Methamphetamine, marijuana, unregistered guns and stolen items such as generators and golf carts were found during the search.
A stolen vehicle was found in the garage which was in the process of being dismantled in what police called a make shift chop shop.
The 34-year-old man and the 31-year-old woman who occupy the home were already in jail in LaGrange County, Indiana on unrelated larceny and drug charges.
