COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A three day jury trial has been scheduled in the criminal sexual conduct case of a former school teacher which erupted into a huge controversy in Quincy earlier this year.
Former Quincy school teacher Jason Ferrell is scheduled to go on trial December 5th.
He has entered not guilty pleas to six criminal sexual conduct charges in connection with alleged incidents involving a former female student.
Ferrell is being held on a $300,000 bond after a request to modify the bond was denied on September 1st by Judge Bill O’Grady.
Ferrell is facing two counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and four counts of second degree CSC.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for November 20th.
