COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community School District has two assistant principal positions that need to be filled.
One of the open positions is at Coldwater High School where Krista Searls will be retiring on May 31 after 31 years of service to Coldwater Community Schools.
Her retirement was formally accepted by the Board of Education in February.
The other assistant principal opening is at Legg Middle School.
Julie Slusher retired as the school’s principal on February 29 after 11 years of service to the district. Her retirement was accepted during the January School Board meeting.
Jacob Kumor was then transitioned from Assistant Principal to the Legg Middle School Principal which created the assistant principal opening.
Friday was the last day applications for the two assistant principal jobs were being accepted by the district.
