COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Southern Michigan Bank and Trust Chairman and C.E.O. John Castle recently announced the appointments of Joey Duke as Network Administrator Officer and Petrea Schumacher as Vice President/Compliance Officer, as well as the promotion of Robin O’Brien to Bank Secrecy Act Officer.
Duke worked most recently at the Community Health Center of Branch County, where he earned the distinction of Employee of the Month. He is active on the Branch Area Careers Center’s OJT Advisory Committee and is a lifelong Bronson resident.
Schumacher has worked as a criminal defense and estate planning attorney in private practice. She lives in Mendon with her husband and their two young children.
O’Brien joined Southern as a teller in 1998, advancing to the Operations department and ultimately Senior Operations Clerk. In her new position, she will be leading the bank’s BSA effort. She lives in Quincy with her fiancé, Bob.
