COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence will hold their 14th annual Walk A Mile In Their Shoes event Saturday morning on South Monroe Street.
The event will be held rain or shine as the entire community unites to support survivors of Domestic & Sexual Violence.
Coalition Executive Director Kim Hemker says the event has grown over the years.
There will be a full morning of events including a pancake breakfast at the Broadway Grille, a 5K run and walk, a dog walk, children’s activities and the march against domestic & sexual violence.
Walk A Mile in Their Shoes is sponsored by Southern Michigan Bank and Trust, McDonald’s and Century Bank & Trust.
This will be the fourth year the event is being held on South Monroe after it previously took place at the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center.
