COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school volleyball Wednesday, Coldwater swept their tri-meet with Parchment and Adrian. The Lady Cardinals defeated Parchment 25-10, 25-9 and Adrian 25-13, 25-21.

Coldwater’s freshman team defeated Parchment 3-0 (25-18, 25-4, 25-3). Meg Smith had 11 aces and three assists, Amber Sunderland had eight aces while Madison Beckhusen had four kills.
Quincy lost a pair of matches during a tri-meet at Vandercook Lake on Wednesday night. Hudson defeated the Orioles 2-0 (25-23, 25-13). Taylor Todd had eight digs & three kills, Cailyn Cook had six digs, Allison Parshall added 13 assists, five digs and two kills, Victoria Waligora contributed five kills and three digs, Mackenzie Horsfall had four digs, Emily Hollenbaugh added a kill and an ace and Kayla Welch had three kills.
Quincy then played Vandercook Lake and lost 2-1 (19-25, 26-24, 15-13). Cailyn Cook had 11 digs and a kill. Allison Parshall contributed 13 assists, six digs, three kills, two aces and a block, Victoria Waligora added eight digs, three kills and two aces, Taylor Todd had four kills, three digs and two aces, Emily Hollenbaugh added two blocks, two kills and a dig, Kayla Welch had three digs, two aces, and a kill, Mackenzie Horsfall contributed five digs and two kills and Gabby Williams had two digs. JV beat Hudson and lost to Vandercook Lake . Anna Turner had 3 aces and 2 kills, Hayley Wineland contributed 3 aces and 7 kills, McKenzie McCavit added 10 kills, Morgan Michael had 2 kills, and Autum Luckadoo also had 2 kills.
Quincy JV and Varsity will travel to Jackson Lumen Christi on Thursday September 7th.
