COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Diocese of Kalamazoo Bishop Paul Bradley is scheduled to be in Coldwater Wednesday morning as St. Charles School celebrates its 20th year.
A special mass will be offered at 9:00 a.m. at the church and everyone in the community is invited to attend.
St. Charles Pastor Father Mark Vyverman says the school year started last week with a record number of students and they have added back an eighth grade classroom.
The school reopened in 1997 almost 15 years after it was shut down by the Coldwater Community Schools because of severe financial conditions and declining enrollment.
The St. Charles School Board decided in the late 1960’s to stop offering elementary school services.
