BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – In the aftermath of the recent tornadoes that caused a considerable amount of damage in the Sherwood area, the Branch County Community Foundation and Branch County United Way have announced a collaborative effort to increase emergency assistance for community members in need.
The days following the tornadoes have highlighted the resilience and compassion of our community. Community members have provided critical aid and support to those affected, bringing grassroots relief.
With the Emergency Relief Fund at the Branch County Community Foundation, they will work with the Branch County United Way to identify assistance needed for those in Sherwood who have been affected by tornadoes. Consumers Energy Foundation donated a $5,000 gift to the Emergency Relief Fund this week.
