COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Because of people coming and going throughout the day for the free event, it was tough to come up with an exact count for Saturday’s first Cultural Jubilee in downtown Coldwater, but it appears between 400-500 people attended the event.
The sunny weather obviously helped in bringing out people, but once they were there, you could see smiles all around. People were getting out of their comfort zone a bit, whether it was trying new food, showing their own rhythm by participating in the Community Dance Circle organized by St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, our dancing along with our local Yemeni dancers.
It truly was “A Gathering of Neighbors,” and we were proud to be one of the co-sponsors.
