CONCORD, MI (WTVB) – Springport edged Union City by four shots on Monday to claim the final Big 8 Conference Boys Golf Jamboree of the season hosted by Maple Valley at Concord Hills Golf Club.
The Spartans had a score of 181 followed by the Chargers with a 185. Quincy was third with a 191 which was 20 strokes better than the first time they visited Concord Hills earlier in the season.
Bronson was fourth with a 238.
Springport’s Maximilian Argumedo was the medalist with a 42.
Union City’s Landyn Crance was second with a 44 while his teammate Logan Mears was fifth with a 46. Carter Krummrey tied for sixth with Keegan Neely and Brydan Wible of Quincy as they each carded a 47.
Caleb Bostic of Quincy and Carter Krummrey of Union City both had rounds of 48. Grant Carter of Quincy had a 49.
The Big 8 Conference title will be decided on Tuesday during the Conference meet at Wiffletree Golf Club.
