Richard M. Collins, 71, of Coldwater passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic.
A service will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater with Pastor Mark Case officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Colon.
Prior to the service will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home.
Richard was born July 16, 1952 to Robert and Mary (Wood) Collins in Coldwater, MI. He married Brenda Frisbie on September 20, 1969 in Fort Wayne, IN.
Richard worked for 44 years at Omni Source, retiring in 2019. The commute to work was never a problem for him because he lived in his “Paradise,” Shady Oaks, for 25 years.
Richard is survived by his wife, Brenda Collins of Coldwater; his siblings Susan (Terry) Smith of Mishawaka, IN, Vickie Frisbie of Colon, Russell Collins of Chester, VA; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Bobie Kaye Hasbrock.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
