COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Applebee’s Grill and Bar will not be among the chain’s restaurants that will be closing down.
The Coldwater restaurant at 787 East Chicago, along with 63 others in Michigan, are owned by Livonia-based Team Schostak Family Restaurants. They also own the Applebee’s in Battle Creek and Marshall.
Spokesperson Barbara Pasciak told the Battle Creek Enquirer that none of their Michigan restaurants are affected at this time by the recent announcement by Applebee’s parent company DineEquity.
DineEquity plans to close up to 135 Applebee’s but the ones which are closing have not been announced yet.
