Harris and Mya Webb combined on a five hit shutout in the nightcap. They wound up striking out 27 Centreville batters in the doubleheader.
Harris drove in two runs in the second game while Roni Bir and Delanee Carpenter both had two hits.
Bronson Coach Becky Gray said, “We are on a good streak right now. The pitching is solid and we are playing much better defense. I feel we have seen all kinds of pitching and are learning to be successful and make adjustments at the plate. I feel we are prepared and ready for districts.”
The Vikings will take a record of 24-9 into next week’s district tournament.
