KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – In boys high school soccer, the Coldwater varsity team improved its record to 3-0 Tuesday with a 4-2 non conference win at Kalamazoo Central.
Jonathan Brownell had two second half goals and one assist, with Ahmed Moshen and Mubarick Said each scoring their first varsity goals. Shaif Ahmed had two assists and Saleh Mohamed had the other. Balal Nasser made 9 saves in goal for the win.
The next action for the Cardinals is Saturday in the Eaton Rapids Division Two Invitational at the East Lansing Soccer Complex, opening up against Tecumseh.
The Coldwater JV team suffered its first loss of the season Tuesday, falling to Kalamazoo Central 1-0.
