BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinals boys golf team put together their best round of the season on Tuesday during the M.H.S.A.A. Division Two regional meet at Bedford Valley Golf Club.
Coldwater closed out the season as they finished tenth with a team score of 337. Coldwater bettered their previous best score by eight strokes. The top three teams who are heading to the Division Two Lower Peninsula Finals were host Gull Lake (302), Mason (305) and Jackson Northwest (311).
Coldwater’s Talan Eberts came within two shots of qualifying for the Lower Peninsula Finals as he fired a 79 and finished 14th.

Joey Mario of Harper Creek and Andrew Boldt of Parma Western were ahead of Eberts as they both advanced with rounds of 77.
Coldwater’s Dracyn Foster and Jake Fosdick both had rounds of 85 while Braydon Wilkins fired a 88.
