OSSEO, MI (WTVB) – A motorcyclist had to be flown out by helicopter Saturday night after he collided with a vehicle at a Hillsdale County intersection.
The accident at M-99 and M-34 happened just before 7:00 p.m. when motorcyclist Kirk Culbert of Pittsford was struck by a Dodge Journey driven by Nick Bumpus of Hillsdale as Bumpus was making a left hand turn.
The accident was captured on security camera video at a nearby gas station.
Culbert was flown by Life Flight helicopter to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
The intersection was shut down for several hours.
