COLDWATER, MIK (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners are scheduled Tuesday to take action on a request to replace an underground duct at the Commission on Aging’s Burnside Center for less than $25,000.
Commission on Aging Executive Director Amy Duff said during Thursday’s work session that problems started to develop last spring.
The portion that needs to be replaced is only 10 to 15 feet long.
Foulke Construction Company of Hillsdale submitted the quote for the work after they did the renovation of the Burnside Center.
Duff anticipates the work will be done in the early fall because the heat and air conditioning will have to be off.
She added the Commission on Aging will not have to close during the two weeks of the project but it maybe noisy on some days.
