COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Community Health Center of Branch County Hospice volunteers and staff recently honored a World War Two veteran.
91-year-old Charles Raymond served from 1944-1947 in the United States Army’s 274th Field Artillery. He served in Germany under General George Patton until the war ended.
Raymond was given the Veteran’s Service Flag pin which was created to distinguish and honor persons who have faithfully served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America.
The “CHC Hospice Honors Veterans” program was created to present veterans within hospice care ceremonial recognition for their time of service.
