COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Main Street will be hosting a walking and strolling tour of downtown Coldwater on Wednesday evening starting at 5:30 p.m..
Those who participant will get an on-the-ground look at the downtown corridor.
The tour is part of an effort to get as many citizens as possible to fill out an on line survey which will help Coldwater Main Street choose projects that improve downtown public spaces over time and encourage residents and guests to spend more time downtown.
The survey focuses on public areas including sidewalks, roadways, parks, parking plazas and crosswalks.
Wednesday’s walking tour will begin outside Tibbits Opera House at 5:30 p.m.. It will go up Hanchett to Chicago before heading west to Clay. It will then head east along U.S. 12 to Jefferson. The tour will then go west on U.S. 12 to Monroe before it heads south to Pearl and back to the Tibbits.
