COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Downtown Coldwater is expected to be packed on Saturday for the annual Strawberry Fest and Craft Show.
It’s estimated last year’s event drew over 10,000 people to the downtown area and over 200 vendors are expected to be hand on Saturday.
Community Enrichment Director Julie Santure says the layout will take up several blocks.
This will be the second year this configuration is being used.
It was designed to give everyone more room after there were numerous complaints about crowded conditions during the 2022 Strawberry Fest.
Because of Strawberry Fest, no parking will be allowed in the Tibbits Plaza Parking Lot, on South Monroe Street, and on the south side of U.S. 12 between midnight Friday night and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Strawberry Fest has been held for over three decades. The only time it was not held was in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
