COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater says there are scheduled to be lane closures Friday and Saturday on Marshall Street between Grand and Church as crews continue to make road repairs. The City apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause and urges pedestrians and motorists to proceed cautiously through the construction area.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker told the City Council during their last meeting that the contractor had begun work in earnest on Church Street with pavement and concrete removal and was starting underground utility installation. The rain in mid-July caused a delay.
It is still hoped Grand Street will be reopened in time for the start of school but that will depend on the weather.
