CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two persons were arrested by Troopers from the Michigan State Police post at Marshall on Tuesday in connection with a breaking and entering in the 1000 block of State Line Road in California Township.
Troopers were dispatched to the break in at about 9:00 p.m. on Monday night. Troopers said in a press release that tips and leads were received and three suspects along with a suspect vehicle were developed.
While two of the suspects were arrested, charges will be sought on the third suspect. All three are from Coldwater.
State Police say a considerable amount of the stolen property has been recovered.
The suspects were identified as two men ages 47 and 49 and a 46-year-old woman. The suspect vehicle was a dark blue 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck.
The 49-year-old man and 47-year-old woman were located living out of a camper in the area of Willowbrook Road and White Drive in Coldwater.
They were subsequently arrested and lodged at the Branch County jail on multiple warrants as well as charges of breaking and entering and possession of stolen property. The arrested male was also a parole absconder.
Their names are being withheld until their arraignment. State Police say drug use is a suspected factor and the matter is still under investigation
