COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Board of Directors expressed their satisfaction with the job Paul Jakubczak is doing as Director Wednesday night as they approved a two percent increase in his annual salary.
The action came after a nearly 40 minute closed session in order to conduct a periodic evaluation at the request of Jakubczak.
The board also approved a two percent increase to his 457 retirement plan. Jakubczak has served as the utility’s Director since March 7, 2022.
The initial contract agreement called for him to receive an annual salary of $160,000. He was given a five percent pay raise last year.
Jakubczak thanked the board for their confidence in his abilities to run the organization.
He served for seven years as the Director of Electric & Gas Systems in Fort Pierce, Florida before taking the job in Coldwater.
