ARCHER LAKE, MI (WTVB) – The high water on local lakes following the recent heavy rainfalls has caused organizers of Sunday’s annual Chain of Lakes Poker Run to make some adjustments.
One of the organizers is Angie DeMercurio and she says you don’t need a boat to take part.
Proceeds will benefit the Coldwater and Marble Lake Associations.
The event will also collect funds for the Branch County Veterans Footlocker.
This year’s theme is “Pirates” and it’s a cash only event.
There will be a boat decorating contest. Polaroids will be taken at registration and voting will take place at the end of the event.
Archer Lake Watersports will NOT be open for fuel but docking will be available for registration and all participants.
