COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Education is scheduled to take the final step towards putting a $29 million bond resolution and 1.39 mill increase on the November ballot Monday night during a special meeting.
The board passed a resolution last month approving the application for the preliminary qualification of bonds.
Final action is expected to be taken Monday night.
If voters in the Coldwater district say yes in November, Lakeland Elementary would be replaced by a new 4th and 5th grade building at the site of the current Little League diamonds on Western Avenue.
The funds would also be used for infrastructure needs in the district.
