BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Under the category of no news is good news, the Branch County Sheriff’s Department reported no new jail bookings for both Saturday and Sunday.
The jail intake was quiet on a weekend that featured the Chain of Lakes Poker Run and the Bronson Polish Festival.
Perhaps the weather conditions were a factor in people being on their best behavior. The weekend was dry with comfortable temperatures near 80.
For the record, the jail population as of Sunday was 70 with 51 males and 19 females inmates.
