COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Board of Directors of the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities hopes to have a plan in place within the next 45 days for the replacement of current CBPU Director Paul Beckhusen.
Beckhusen is stepping down, effective September 1, 2017, to take over as General Manager of the Michigan South Central Power Agency. He will replace Glen White, who is retiring at the end of October.
CBPU Board President John Schroll says it’s hoped a consultant contract can be worked out with Beckhusen to ease the transition. The board will also be working with the staff on a reorganization plan for the organization. The current Assistant Director for the CBPU is former Coldwater City Manager Jeff Budd.
