COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners interviewed three of the six candidates for County Administrator on Tuesday.
Interviewed on Tuesday were Lakeland Correctional Facility administrative manager John Morrell, former Oakland Township manager Adam Kline and Caledonia village manager Jeffrey Thornton.
Morrell pointed out his local ties.
Kline had a positive impression of Branch County.
Thornton said he has an open door.
Scheduled to be interviewed on Wednesday morning starting at 9:00 a.m. are assistant St. Joseph County administrator Jessica Miller, assistant Manatee County, Florida administrator Robert Reinshuttle and Meridian Township manager Frank Walsh.
Whoever is selected will take over for Bud Norman who will be retiring as Branch County Administrator on December 31, 2024.
