COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education approved three year contract agreements during a special meeting on Monday night for the district’s support staff and transportation employees.
The contracts were with the Coldwater Educational Support Personnel Association and the Coldwater Transportation Personnel.
The deals will go through the 2026-2027 school year.
Superintendent Paul Flynn says each group received increases in pay of three percent for the 2024/2025 school year and two percent for 2025/2026.
The increase for the final year of the contract in 2026/2027 will be negotiated.
Flynn added there were minor changes in language for transportation which included clarification of the bidding for bus runs.
According to Flynn, the CESPA contract cleaned up language for clarifications and included a letter of agreement to develop a category for the position of pool receptionist to be added to the agreement.
