COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Cameron Ruge of Coldwater has been named to the Michigan High School Golf Coaches Association All State Team in Division Two. Ruge was medalist in four tournaments this season including winning the Division Two Regional hosted by Gull Lake at the Bedford Valley Golf Course.
Ruge, who graduated this year, will be playing golf for Trine University next season.
It was also announced that Austin Butler of Coldwater was named Honorable Mention Academic All State by the Golf Coaches Association. Butler will be attending Purdue University in the Fall where he will be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering.
